renaissance one

renaissance one are producers and advocates who work across literature artforms - from fiction to poetry and talks - from book launches and lectures to tours.

We develop tours, book events, spoken word projects and we mentor and support writers and producers, both formally and informally.

Over the years we have worked and collaborated with number over 100 writers and artists including Ali Smith, John Agard, Gary Younge, Caroline Bird, Dan Rhodes, Jason Yarde, Jackie Kay, Caryl Phillips, Charlie Dark and many more.  During the year we support Tongue Fu (as a producer) and in 2012 we are developing projects with Writing East Midlands, Peter Bearder (Pete The Temp), Jean 'Binta' Breeze, Grace Nichols, Lydia Towsey, John Agard and more.  Our forté is to channel our curiosity, imagination and our wide-ranging understanding of literature into any given project to bring unique results.
